Does anyone have a room or sommat to rent for about 2 weeks while my mate finds a flat in London? She's been looking online for a flat for weeks and hasn't found any, and would like to be there and have a week or so to view flats, and all that jazz, even any BnBs that you know of that do cheap rates by the week or pub let rooms and so on.

Thanks :)

I'm new to this community and I'm looking for a few more journals to read. I update nearly everyday and post quite a few comments on my friends journals.

Take a look at my user info, then add me if we have anything in common....

[ mood | bouncy ]

Just doing the rounds for a few more journals to read..

Im 21 from Cambridge and am currently in the process of moving house (madness). I work part time for a local charity and the rest of my time is taken up by looking after all my animals, and my fiance! My journal is friends only, but if you add me I'll add you back ;) I am also doing an Open University course which I am putting towards a degree..*fingers crossed*

Generally I post about every day thing; my current feelings, my emotions, work, animals, relationship with Si, family, friends etc. I do post regulaly (4 or 5 times a week) but I do use lj-cuts for lengthy topics, pics etc.

Please check out my info for more about me..

I have also recently created a UK pet community called uk_pets - so come join!

A comment [25 May 2004|08:09pm]

[ mood | excited ]

Hello. I'm a 20 year old female originally from Portland, Oregon, USA (between Washington and California on the west coast). I'm currently a psychology major at the University of Oregon in Eugene. Next fall (September 14th to be exact) I'll be going to the University of East Anglia in Norwich on a yearlong study abroad program through my school. I believe I'll be living in the residence halls there. Anyway, this will be my first time in Europe. It'd be nice to get to know a few people from the area who might be able to show me around once I get there. Or at least get advice, tips etc. on lj/email/aim, about the area, the school etc. before I go over there. Anything that would make my transition easier!

...Anyone have any comments?

Also, any advice on how to get from london (Heathrow) to Norwich. I'm looking for something fairly cheap.. but easily accessible!

Thanks, Sarah

An Introduction [23 Mar 2004|11:19am]

[ mood | busy ]

I am a 20-something, 21 to be precise, but not in the UK as of yet. I'm an American living in New York City, but in September, I'm moving to England to go to grad school at the University of Exeter for their MFA in Staging Shakespeare, Acting pathway. It's a 2-year program, so I'm looking to make some friends in the UK before I get there. I plan on doing a lot of traveling over the two years I'm there, so if you're not in/near Exeter, I'd still love to hear from you.
